Summary:
We are looking for a skilled IT professional to manage, maintain, and support our IT infrastructure and hardware. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various operating systems, hardware management, and network troubleshooting. This role includes providing support to employees across multiple locations and ensuring smooth IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Network Management
- Deploying, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure.
2. Hardware Management
- Issuing, verifying, managing, troubleshooting, upgrading, and downgrading employee PCs and laptops.
- Managing other hardware including mobile phones and tablets.
- Keeping track of PCs, laptops, and other hardware items.
- Tracking, troubleshooting, installing, maintaining, organizing, issuing, and auditing replenish-able stock items like keyboards, mouse, headphones, etc.
- Dispatching and receiving hardware from different centers (including different cities).
- Coordinating warranty claims and hardware repairs with departments like Admin and Procurement.
3. Software and OS Management
- Working with Linux, Windows, and MacOS environments.
- Installing, upgrading, recovering, and troubleshooting different OS on various hardware.
4. User & Account Management
- Managing new employees joining and employees leaving the organization.
- Managing accounts (Email, Skype, IM, etc.) for all employees.
- Providing support via the Helpdesk system.
- Providing remote support to teleworking employees (working from home).
5. Support & Availability
- Providing round-the-clock shifts to support all engineers working in the company.
6. Inventory & Asset Management
- Managing hardware inventory.
Skills Required:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and MacOS environments.
- Good knowledge of networking fundamentals.
- Experience with hardware maintenance and setup (PCs, laptops, mobile devices, tablets).
- Familiarity with helpdesk systems and remote support tools.
- Ability to manage inventory and hardware dispatch processes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- IT Graduate with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
