This role will report to the Manager of Key Account Planning – Mass Retail. The main duties of this position include, but are not limited to forecast analysis, retail sales and inventory analysis, building and maximizing relationships with internal and external partners, and maintaining and developing reports to support account stakeholders. You will also be responsible for utilizing retailer applications such as Vendor Central, Retail Link, Partners Online (POL), and Scintilla to support your analysis. This role will regularly interact with Sales, Planning, Merchandising, and other cross-functional teams to develop data-driven forecasts that improve accuracy and reduce liability for Funko.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Proactively review and act on the business utilizing analytics primarily within excel and internal customer reporting systems.
  • Serves as the internal liaison of revenue & inventory forecasts to support budget and forecast processes. Provides both quantitative and qualitative feedback regarding customer activity to improve the overall forecast accuracy for the customer.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of the customer forecasts in collaboration with Sales counterparts.
  • Utilize customer forecasting data to provide analytical support to various teams (Account Managers, Category Leadership Managers).
  • Implement and partner on program planning, assortment planning, forecasting, replenishment ordering, and end of life planning.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align on product lifecycle planning, including new launches, promotions, and end-of-life transitions.
  • Analyze sales and inventory performance of products and programs and adjust forecast plans to optimize sales, turn, margin, and enhance the consumer experience.
  • Support identifying opportunities and propose marketing, promotional, unique buys to increase retail sales and mitigate inventory risk.
  • Manage and maximize Walmart’s in-stock goals by proactively analyzing inventory with Walmart tools (Scintilla and Retail Link), identifying forecast or in-stock issues, and implementing corrective actions in partnership with the internal Sales team.
  • Build strong working relationships with Walmart replenishment teams and internal business partners.
  • Must effectively influence these individuals, gaining support for replenishment and inventory management policies that maximize product availability at store level, while minimizing inventory in the supply chain.
What You’ll Bring
  • 1-3 years of experience in planning, inventory management, business analytics, or B2B sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field.
  • Familiarity with retailer tools (Retail Link, Scintilla, POL, Vendor Central)
  • Walmart experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, One Note, Power Point, SharePoint)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate data with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Initiative to work with minimal instruction or direction.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across business functions.
  • Proven analytical, organizational, tactical, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience working within an agile methodology for project execution.
  • Strong sense of urgency required to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability and passion to learn new information and concepts quickly.
Salary Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $67,725 - $98,400 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives.
