Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
: Develop detailed project schedules for S&T works including interlocking systems, telecom upgrades, and safety installations.
Resource Allocation
: Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to meet project timelines.
Technical Documentation
: Prepare and review technical drawings, estimates, and work plans in line with Railway Board guidelines.
Coordination
: Liaise with engineering, electrical, and operations departments for integrated project execution.
Compliance & Safety
: Ensure adherence to Indian Railways’ Signal Engineering Manual, Telecommunication Manual, and safety protocols.
Monitoring & Reporting
: Track project progress, prepare status reports, and flag delays or risks to senior officials.
Budgeting
: Assist in preparing budget proposals and monitoring expenditure against sanctioned estimates.
Skills & Qualifications
Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Telecommunication Engineering.
Familiarity with railway signaling systems (e.g., panel interlocking, route relay interlocking).
Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
