Associate Manager, Business Analyst

To support the Power Export function by providing analytical, commercial, financial, and market insights that enable informed decision-making and drive the development and execution of strategic business opportunities.

Technical Knowledge and Industry Expertise

• Developed a solid approach to problem solving either in energy industry, consulting or investment banking
• Possesses solid understanding of end-to-end project development processes, including origination, feasibility assessment, structuring, and execution of energy projects.
• Well-versed in the dynamics and structures of energy markets, with experience across both regulated and deregulated environments.
• Familiar with relevant federal regulations, policy frameworks, and incentive mechanisms shaping the sector, and able to incorporate these considerations into market assessments and project development strategies.

Corporate Finance Expertise

• Demonstrates a good knowledge of core corporate finance concepts, including capital structure, financial modelling, investment appraisal, funding strategies.
• Ability to effectively apply these principles in supporting strategic business decisions and long-term value creation.

Data Analysis & Presentation Skills

• Possesses solid proficiency in data analysis, utilizing appropriate analytical tools and methodologies to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets
• Demonstrates the ability to interpret and translate results into clear, concise, and impactful presentations tailored to the target audience, effectively supporting informed decision-making and strategic planning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or related field
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in energy/renewable energy, investment banking, consulting
• Microsoft Software.
• Presentation Skills.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A pro-active high achiever with high energy levels, who is used to working under pressure and to tight/challenging deadlines.
• Basic business and financial analysis skills.
• Good understanding of the business value chain.
