Overview
The role is responsible for supporting business development activities by gathering market intelligence, preparing feasibility and business case inputs, and coordinating initiative and partnership analysis to enable informed decision making and sustainable growth opportunities.
Key Accountabilities
- Gather and analyze market intelligence by collecting data on market trends, competitors, technologies, and regulatory developments to support the identification and prioritization of business opportunities
- Prepare feasibility assessment and business case inputs by analyzing financial, commercial, and operational data to support evaluation and alignment of new initiatives with organizational strategy.
- Help structure promising business concepts by assisting in developing frameworks, defining success criteria, and preparing supporting materials for leadership review and approval.
- Assist in preparing strategic and operational business plans by compiling assumptions, analyses, and documentation to support new initiatives, expansions, or subsidiary led opportunities.
- Coordinate cross functional inputs and subsidiary collaboration by gathering information, aligning stakeholders, and supporting joint efforts to pursue market entry or growth opportunities.
- Support partnership and investment opportunity assessment by preparing profiles, gathering due diligence information, and assisting in structuring partnerships, joint ventures, or investment options.
- Track initiative progress and supporting analyses by maintaining records, monitoring timelines, and preparing updates to support effective decision making and governance reviews.
Academic and professional qualifications
- Bachelor's in Business Administration, Engineering, Public Policy, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Administration, Engineering, Public Policy, or equivalent
