Associate Manager (Central QA)

Job Description (JD) For Steel Melting Shop, Central QA

• Develop, implement and maintain Quality Management system.
• Define SOP, Inspection plan, test plan of slab production.
• Ensure correct slab decision to right customer
• Keep informed SMS team about quality issues of steel products
• CAPA formulation for internal & external complaint
• Daily management of quality parameters.
• Problem solving to ensure quality
• Conduct plant trial and publish its report to improve quality and on new development
• Publish Technical papers
• Study technical feasibility of new / existing enquiries
• Management of Slab inventory without affecting production
• S-printing and macro-etch of slab samples and record its result
• Impart training to plant heat makers in line with quality assurance
• Successful completion of internal and external audit
• Control quality of input materials
• Conduct process audit
