Associate Manager, Finance:
supports plant profitability and growth by overseeing financial operations like budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis, managing compliance, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Key responsibilities include variance analysis, implementing cost-saving measures within the supply chain, and improving financial processes using technology. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, combined with expertise in ERP systems and financial modelling, are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
Support the budgeting and forecasting process, perform detailed variance analysis against budgets, and provide insights through financial modelling to aid decision-making.
Cost Control & Optimization:
Analyse operational costs, including manufacturing and supply chain expenses, to identify areas for cost reduction without impacting service levels.
Financial Reporting:
Consolidate and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, creating dashboards for leadership that highlight key financial performance and insights.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure adherence to local financial regulations, maintain internal controls, and manage financial risks to safeguard the company.
Process & System Improvement:
Drive initiatives to automate financial processes, improve efficiency in reporting, and leverage digital tools for better financial management.
Collaboration:
Work closely with plant management, supply chain, and other business units to provide financial support and ensure seamless financial data flow.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage inventory costs and valuation to optimize profitability.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: MBA in finance / a relevant accounting or finance degree.
Experience: 3-7 years of experience in finance, particularly within the manufacturing sector.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), accounting software, and advanced MS Excel for financial modelling and reporting.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and leadership capabilities to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage client relationships.
Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of manufacturing operations and cost structures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
