Your role:

As a Associate Manager / Manager - Growth Marketing, you will own the full growth funnel from user acquisition to activation, retention, and revenue driving scalable, profitable growth for the app. This is a high-ownership role at the intersection of performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, analytics, and partnerships.

What Would You Do at Khatabook?

At Khatabook, you will own growth end-to-end—driving efficient user acquisition, improving activation and retention, and building scalable growth engines for an MSME-first product.

  • Scale high-quality user acquisition across Meta, Google, affiliates, and emerging channels, while maintaining strict efficiency guardrails on CPI, CAC, ROAS, and payback
  • Build and execute a structured experimentation roadmap across creatives, audiences, funnels, and offers
  • Partner closely with Product, Design, Creative, and Analytics teams to improve install activation repeat usage
  • subscription conversion
  • Identify key funnel drop-offs and drive rapid, data-backed fixes through experiments
  • Design and manage lifecycle journeys across push, in-app, WhatsApp, SMS, and email to improve engagement and adoption
  • Improve D1/D7/D30 retention and reduce churn using cohort-based insights
  • Ensure clean tracking, accurate attribution, and reliable dashboards to support data-driven decisions
  • Monitor traffic quality and performance anomalies, proactively flagging risks and opportunities
  • Build and scale affiliate and partnership channels with strong quality controls and governance
  • Own growth targets with high accountability and communicate results clearly to stakeholders

What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a hands-on, outcome-driven growth marketer who can operate at both strategic and execution levels in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • 3–6 years of experience in growth or performance marketing (startup or agency preferred)
  • Proven experience owning both acquisition and retention in app-led or growth-driven environments
  • Strong hands-on expertise withMeta and Google Ads, including campaign scaling and optimization
  • Solid analytical skills acrossfunnels, cohorts, LTV, and payback modeling
  • Experience working withMMPssuch as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Singular, including deep-linking setups
  • Exposure to lifecycle marketing across push, in-app, WhatsApp, email, and SMS
  • Experience managing or scaling affiliate or performance partnerships
  • Ability to operate with high ownership, speed, and accountability
  • Structured, hypothesis-driven mindset with a strong bias toward experimentation
  • Clear communicator who can explain results, trade-offs, and learnings with discipline
  • Prior experience in consumer internet, fintech, or app-first startup is a strong plus
