Job Summary:
The incumbent will be responsible to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement of raw materials through efficient conversion of Purchase Requisitions (PR) into Purchase Orders (PO), proactive logistics follow-up, market intelligence analysis, financial coordination, and effective handling of insurance claims.
Job Responsibilities:

Monitor raw material market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier performance, and collect and analyze market data to support cost optimization and strategic sourcing.

Provide regular market intelligence reports to management.

Convert approved Purchase Requisitions (PR) into Purchase Orders (PO)

Source raw materials from approved vendors ensuring quality, cost competitiveness, and delivery timelines.

Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers, and coordinate with suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure on-time material delivery.

Track shipments and proactively follow up to avoid delays or shortages, and resolve logistics-related issues including delays, damages, or shortages.

Work closely with the Finance team for invoice verification, payment processing, and reconciliation.

Ensure accurate documentation for procurement, logistics, and statutory compliance.

Support audits by providing procurement and logistics records, and handle insurance claims related to transit loss, damage, or shortages.

Coordinate with insurers, surveyors, and internal teams to ensure timely claim settlement, and maintain proper claim documentation and follow up until closure.
Key Requirements:

an MBA degree

a minimum of 7-12 years of relevant work experience

Required Pharmaceutical Experience - RM, and expertise in SAP and Excel
