Associate Manager - Quality & Hygiene (Butchery) | MAF Retail | Hypermarket Egypt

ROLE SUMMARY

The Associate Manager - Quality & Hygiene ensure all meat processing activities, comply with food safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies, while minimizing risks and optimizing operational efficiency

ROLE PROFILE

• Implement and monitor HACCP, ISO 22000 and local regulatory standards (e.g., NFSA, EOS).
• Receiving carcasses (inspection for temperature, contamination, traceability).
• Chilling storage (monitor temperature logs, shelf-life management).
• Deboning/meat division (hygiene, tool sterilization, cross-contamination checks).
• Vacuum packaging (seal integrity, Data on Product).
• Lead internal/external audits and corrective actions.
• Train staff on GMP, hygiene protocols, and allergen control.
• Physicochemical standards (color, texture).

REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor's in veterinary, Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
• Certifications: HACCP, ISO 22000 Lead Auditor.
• Experience: 3+ years in meat processing QA.
• Technical Skills: Lab testing, cold chain logistics.
• Soft Skills: Analytical, leadership, crisis management.
