Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental and facial irregularities, providing exceptional patient care, and working collaboratively with our dental team to enhance the overall patient experience. The Orthodontist will utilize advanced techniques and technologies to develop personalized treatment plans that align with patients' needs and goals.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for orthodontic care, including braces, retainers, and other corrective devices.
- Perform orthodontic procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics as needed.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficient patient care during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper management of medical records.
- Collaborate with pediatric dentists and other specialists to provide integrated care for patients requiring additional services.
- Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care.
- Stay updated on advancements in orthodontic technology and techniques to continuously improve patient outcomes.
Skills
- Proficient in dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to orthodontics.
- Experience with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of anatomy related to orthodontics, including facial structure and dental anatomy.
- Ability to perform medical imaging procedures accurately for diagnostic purposes.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus, along with experience in general dentistry procedures.

Pay: $218,000.00 - $318,000.00 per year
