Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and a strong foundation in various dental procedures. This role involves working closely with patients to assess their dental needs, perform treatments, and ensure a comfortable experience in our clinic. The Associate Dentist will collaborate with other dental professionals to deliver comprehensive care while adhering to the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform a range of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options, procedures, and post-operative care.
- Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including proficiency in software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with dental fabrication processes and root canal therapy is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.

Pay: $174,728.67 - $289,995.81 per year
