Associate Podiatrist

Well established, multi-doctor, multi-office podiatric practice looking for full time associate with path to possible partnership for the right candidate. We are situated in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, maintaining a quaint, small-town charm, but within a 90min drive to Washington D.C. Our large, loyal patient population has been built over decades, with the origins of our group dating back to the 1950’s. We are seeking a committed, honest, hardworking individual to join our team and hopefully become a long-term contributing member. Most all common foot pathologies are represented for a candidate who wants to tailor their schedule with their clinical interests in mind, including but not limited to forefoot and rearfoot/ankle reconstruction, wound care, routine foot care/general podiatry, diabetic limb salvage, sports medicine and pediatrics. Privileging at our reginal medical center includes two surgery centers and light on-call responsibilities.

This full-time position comes with a competitive base salary and bonus structure, as well as an attractive benefits package including medical insurance, PTO, malpractice insurance, CME, and 401(k) plan. The candidate must possess or be working towards certification in both foot surgery and Rearfoot Reconstructive/Ankle surgery, and license to practice in the state of Virginia. Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in podiatric medicine and surgery, with the ability to provide comprehensive care for patients with foot and ankle conditions. This role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of podiatric issues while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients' foot and ankle health.
  • Diagnose and treat various podiatric conditions, including but not limited to diabetic foot care, sports injuries, and deformities.
  • Perform surgical procedures as necessary, including but not limited to bunionectomies, hammertoe corrections, and wound care.
  • Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient records and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide multidisciplinary care for complex cases.
  • Educate patients on foot health, preventive measures, and treatment options.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of podiatric medicine.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state license to practice podiatry.
  • Experience with medical imaging techniques relevant to podiatry.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Epic and Cerner, is preferred.
  • Knowledge in areas such as dermatology, endocrinology, cardiology, and orthopedics is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting or hospital environment is highly desirable.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
