Senior Front End Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to design and build scalable highperformance web platforms You will own the frontend architecture of complex marketplaceecommerce applications working across the full MERN stack with a strong focus on React performance optimization and user experience This role requires someone who can bridge design and development while managing multiple features and codebases
Required Skills
Core React JavaScript
Advanced React expertise with deep knowledge of hooks context and component architecture
ES6 JavaScript and TypeScript proficiency
State management solutions Redux Zustand or equivalent
React Router and advanced routing patterns
MERN Stack
Strong React foundation for frontend development
Handson experience integrating with NodejsExpress backends
RESTful API design and integration GraphQL experience a plus
MongoDB schema understanding and data structure optimization
Fullstack debugging and optimization across the stack
Frontend Architecture Performance
Building scalable modular component libraries
Code splitting lazy loading and bundle optimization
Performance monitoring with Lighthouse and similar tools
Semantic HTML accessibility WCAG Axe and SEO best practices
Responsive design and mobilefirst development
Styling UI Implementation
Advanced CSS flexbox grid animations transitions
CSSinJS or scoped CSS methodologies not reliant on heavy CSS frameworks
SVG programming and icon systems
Crossbrowser compatibility and browser DevTools proficiency
Development Tools Workflow
Build tools Vite Webpack modern tooling preference
Version control GitGitLab
Package management NPM Yarn mastery

CICD pipeline integration and cloud deployment basics

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable React component architecture for complex platforms
Optimize application performance bundle size and load times
Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into accessible performant code
Build and maintain reusable component libraries and design systems
Integrate frontend with NodejsExpress backends and MongoDB
Ensure code quality through testing code reviews and adherence to standards
Manage complex state management across multiple features
Contribute to CICD pipeline improvements and deployment strategies
Participate in architectural decisions and technical planning

Proven track record managing complex frontends across multiple repositories
