API Developer with experience working with APISIX API Gateway to deploy, configure, and maintain API services. The ideal candidate will be able to build ad-hoc API services in Python to expose internal or partner AI models through the API gateway, while ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain APISIX API Gateway in development and production environments.
• Design, build, and maintain Python-based API services to expose internal or partner AI models.
• Integrate API services with APISIX for routing, authentication, rate limiting, and traffic control.
• Implement and manage API security best practices , including authentication, authorization, TLS, and request validation.
• Optimize API performance, scalability, and latency .
• Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting for APIs and gateway services.
• Collaborate with AI, data, and platform teams to map AI models to secure and scalable APIs.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform ongoing maintenance and upgrades.
