Associate Process Manager

Payroll Processing

  • Prepare and process monthly payroll for all employees, including basic salary, variable payments, allowances, overtime, incentives, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time in accordance with company policies and employment contracts.
  • Review attendance, leaves, absences, in coordination with the business teams
  • Ensure correct bank details are available for each employee with correct documents
  • Ensure all inputs to the payroll team are checked before payroll processing
  • Ensure 100% input to output checking before payroll

Social Insurance Compliance

  • Register new employees and deregister resigned employees with the Social Insurance Authority .
  • Calculate employee and employer social insurance contributions in compliance with Egyptian Social Insurance Law.
  • Prepare, review, and submit monthly social insurance forms and payments within legal deadlines.
  • Handle social insurance inspections and respond to inquiries or audits from the authorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of insurable salaries, contribution history, and employee classifications.

Income Tax Compliance

  • Calculate monthly salary tax (payroll income tax) according to Egyptian tax regulations.
  • Apply applicable tax exemptions, deductions, and annual reconciliation as per the law.
  • Prepare and submit monthly tax payments and required payroll tax forms.
  • Support annual tax settlement and year-end payroll tax reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with external tax consultants or auditors when required.

Labor Law & HR Compliance

  • Ensure payroll practices align with Egyptian Labor Law , employment contracts, and internal HR policies.
  • Process end-of-service settlements, final payments, and deductions for resignations or terminations.
  • Calculate unused leave balances, indemnities, and final settlements accurately.
  • Support compliance with wage structure, minimum wage requirements, and working hours regulations.

Reporting & Reconciliation

  • Prepare monthly payroll reports, cost analysis, and headcount reports for management.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts, social insurance, and tax balances with finance records.
  • Maintain payroll documentation for internal audits, external audits, and government inspections.

Systems & Data Management

  • Maintain and update payroll systems with employee data changes (salary adjustments, promotions, transfers).
  • Ensure data accuracy, system controls, and payroll documentation are properly maintained.
  • Handle payroll-related queries from employees professionally and confidentially.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Egyptian payroll regulations, social insurance, and income tax laws.

Experience

  • 3–6 years of hands-on payroll experience within Egypt.
  • Proven experience dealing with Social Insurance Authority and Egyptian Tax Authority .

Skills & Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of Egyptian labor, tax, and social insurance regulations.
  • High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience with payroll systems.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with HR, Finance, and government entities.
