SUMMARY
The Associate Product Manager supports the development, delivery, and optimization of Sunwest Bank’s products and services. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams and offshore development partners to ensure product initiatives align with business goals, user needs, and regulatory requirements. The Associate Product Manager is responsible for executing product strategies, supporting project management, and driving continuous improvement in product operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage relationships and daily communications with offshore development partners, including Luby and SETA.
  • Participate in all sprint planning sessions, ensuring development work is prioritized and scheduled appropriately.
  • Monitor progress of development tasks, proactively identifying and resolving blockers to keep work on schedule.
  • Assist in the development and execution of product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, operations, and business teams to deliver product features and enhancements.
  • Support product lifecycle management, including requirements gathering, documentation, and release planning.
  • Analyze user feedback, market trends, and performance data to inform product decisions.
  • Document product processes, best practices, and lessons learned.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to process improvement and innovation within the product team.

  • Attends training and maintains a basic knowledge of procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing financial institutions, as they apply to your position and job responsibilities, with an emphasis on the BSA/AML/CIP, Consumer Privacy, Regulation CC, Information Security, Bank Protection Act, FACT-Identity Theft, Information Technology and GLBA.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, project management, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with product development processes and tools.
