Associate Product Manager

We are looking for an Associate Product Manager (APM), which is an entry-level position in Product Management within the Tech industry, an APM should be passionate to solve problems with bright ideas.

The ideal candidate should have skills in research, communication, data organization & analysis.

This is a valuable opportunity for those who want to advance their career in Software Product Management as the candidate will be involved in brainstorming sessions, product roadmap planning, backlog preparation/management, market research, prioritization of tasks & consistent coordination with the development team.

What you would mainly be doing:

  • Continually understand, learn, and improve knowledge about the company's products, services, and industry trends, while maintaining in-depth awareness of existing and upcoming product features and functionalities with confidence across all areas.
  • Continuously groom and manage the product roadmap, using prioritized planning to define and execute monthly release cycles in coordination with the software development team.
  • Translate abstract roadmap items into well-defined user stories, tasks, and implementation steps to ensure clear execution by development teams.
  • Maintain a strong focus on user experience and user interface design while planning product features and evaluating deliverables.
  • Actively collaborate with senior stakeholders, product managers, and the head of product in roadmap planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Plan, assign, and monitor daily and weekly tasks for teams and departments involved in product development to ensure timely execution.
  • Set up, attend, and lead product meetings and demos (online and in-person) to support pre-sales activities in coordination with the sales team.
  • Prepare, manage, and maintain comprehensive product documentation including workflows, user stories, wireframes, and technical documentation aligned with planned functionalities.
  • Propose and enhance product features based on client requirements, market trends, competitive analysis, and evolving industry standards.
  • Conduct detailed research and perform effective SWOT analysis of products and features, contributing meaningfully to roadmap and backlog improvements.
  • Ensure high responsiveness and availability over calls and emails, including during off days when required, to address customer queries and issues escalated by sales, support, or other departments.
  • Take ownership of product quality by ensuring proper testing, validation, and readiness before any release or deployment.
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for implementing advanced technologies, including AI-based features, across product lines.
  • Ensure accountability in product delivery timelines, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks, bugs, and system issues with urgency.
  • Uphold responsibility for team performance by actively monitoring, mentoring, and reporting on team members’ productivity, skills, and deliverables.
  • Any other task assigned by management from time to time.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Fresh or Experienced.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with all levels of the organization.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive Approach: A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a dedication to continuous improvement.
  • Tech-Savvy: High level of computer literacy and comfort with technology.

This is a full-time permanent contract-bound office-based Job & the starting salary would be 45K-75K as per professional experience, the location of the job is at VT PSH Office - Main Uni Road, Jawad Towers, Peshawar.
