Mechanical Design Specification: Create complete specifications in the form of solid models, configured engineering bills of materials, and detailed drawings that cross-functionally communicate the information required to manufacture and inspect a product per its design intent.

Mechanical Design Modelling and Analysis: Create CAD models in accordance with company' standards to represent architectural or product-level system design concepts, enabling system-level analyses such as Dimensional Variation Analysis and Finite Element Analysis.

Product Configuration and Change Management: Establish a baseline of identified product artifacts for configuration management; release, track, control, and communicate changes from concept to obsolescence, maintaining the integrity of product artifact baselines.

Mechanical Design of Mechanical Systems: Acquire and apply an in-depth understanding of mechanical systems to create innovative and sound design concepts meeting Cummins and customer expectations; design for requirements of all lifecycle stages, considering customer requirements in different operating environments to ensure a robust system.
Skills and Experience Required:

Experience Range: 2-5 Years.

Qualification: B.E/BTech Mechanical or Associated Branches.

Proficiency in CREO (latest version 2D & 3D), PLM (Windchill), and Product Change Management.

Hands-on experience with GD&T and a solid understanding of engineering terms.

Strong interaction skills and the ability to work efficiently in cross-functional teams.
-
Good learning ability and an understanding of various product features and their interrelationships.
-
Knowledge of engines and their components' functionality.
