Overview
The Associate Proposals Specialist is responsible for supporting proposal and contract development; and promoting CB&I Storage Solutions' products and services. This position is an entry level, individual contributor contract development role requiring fundamental knowledge of CB&I Storage Solutions markets, products, clients, and customers. The role directly reports to the regional business development lead and routinely interacts with the regional operation leads.
Responsibilities

Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool and keep all information accurate and up to date.

Outline, write, edit and organize proposal documents, while also making timely edits and revisions to documents after reviews

Work closely with Legal and other corporate teams to provide and ensure comprehensive input

Work with the project bid team to ensure that the company liabilities and legal obligations are contractually defined

Review invitation to bid documents in conjunction with other applicable corporate departments

Ensure there is a clearly defined Commercial execution strategy for all proposals submitted

Review scope of “invitation to bid documents” for proposals and recommend to the Business Development Specialist/Manager the optimum split of work into packages, considering the geographical location, capability, and track record of local contractors, etc.
Qualifications

The position is also open to fresh Engineering or BS graduate who are motivated and willing to learn and be trained for the position.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a significant advantage. The ability to write clear, concise and persuasive technical and commercial proposal is essential.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications is a standard requirement. Experience with CRM software and other proposal management tools is also beneficial.

Preference to have experience and/or familiar with regional requirements (i.e. working conditions, prevailing laws) in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Australia.

Knowledge/experience with Energy Transition is a plus.
