We seek a highly qualified Associate Sales Manager with strong technical expertise in promoting sales and aftermarket services for Instrumentation and control products, including Tubing Fittings and related Bulk material/repair/upgrade services with clients in the energy industry. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of the latest developments in Actuation, control systems, and control, PSV & On/OFF Valves, He should also exhibit strong knowledge in the related field of maintenance MRO- pertaining to this equipment with understanding of value in Valve automation packages. To excel in this position, the candidate must possess a thorough understanding of the sales process and its intricate dynamics. Additionally, it's essential for the candidate to exhibit a diverse range of interpersonal skills that will enable them to effectively engage with clients, understand their unique requirements, and build strong, lasting relationships. The candidate's contribution to this role will play a crucial part in driving the success of our sales capability in valves, actuation, control systems, instrumentation and bulk materials.
Requirements:- Search for new clients who benefit from company services and maximise customer potential.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within all the major end users, packagers and contractors/verticals.
- Develop and execute account plans to manage client aftermarket and MRO business, increase revenue, and maximize margin in line with organizational goals.
- Provide analysis on emerging trends and markets and highlight the possible areas to target focus selling for geographical growth.
- Deliver, monitor, and report on sales funnel, pipeline, bookings, and client contact development, providing periodic updates on achievement and progress.
- Ensure all opportunities are identified, qualified, quoted, and followed.
- Leverage technical expertise to understand client needs and requirements and provide written techno-commercial proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with Operation teams to deliver exceptional value to clients and service to the client.
- Actively participate in all marketing activities in the assigned territory/clients. Keep abreast of market developments in the assigned business vertical.
- Handle Business Development activities, such as new opportunity development, new account development, and new market development, as assigned by management.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis.
- Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams.
- Work on marketing collateral development with the marketing team.
- Create brand awareness in the target territory/clients.
Skills & Competencies:- Proven track record of firsthand and individual sales and able to demonstrate experience with necessary references to candidates sales achievements.
- Technical expertise in Actuation, valves and control systems including Bulk and valve automation solutions.
- Must possess strong experience in driving sale initiatives for Valve/Bulk/Actuator services, including Maintenance/Overhauling Actuators and packaged Valve Automation solutions.
- Experience in the Energy Industry is a must.
- Must have Resilience and persistence to work on challenging assignments.
- Good communication skills (Verbal & Written)
- Very good interpersonal, consulting and presentation skills.
- Expert in Presentations, demonstrations, and ability to sell a premium service on Bulk and Valves
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of organisational skills.
- Knowledge of Arabic would be an added advantage
Education & Certification:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related Engineering field (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation )
Additional degree in Business Administration would be a plus.
Experience:- 5 years of work experience in the related job function in a sales role promoting pump services such and valves services.
- Previous experience as a Service Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor is a plus.
