`Job Title: Associate Software Engineer

Job summary Works with Business Analysts to understand new requirements from the Business stakeholders for software solution based on the company ERP platform like Syteline. Develop solutions to meet the business requirements within the confines of agreed standards.
Works with application development projects on need basis. Adheres to the Company's Health and safety requirements and Quality and Environmental management systems.
This role transcends organizational and geographical boundaries as it aims at supporting and enabling the various divisions of the MillerKnoll business across the globe.
The ideal candidate should understand the software development lifecycle and use agile methodology to design, develop, test, and implement solutions that deliver on end-user needs. Responsibilities
- Liaise with Business Analysts and End Users to assess and anticipate their requirements, to determine the best solution to meet their requirements within the confines of agreed standards.
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages • Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Improve existing software
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
- Maintain an up-to-date awareness of the business to enable best-informed decision-making.
- Maintain an up-to-date awareness of the IS industry to enable best-informed decision making.
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives aligned with the role.
- Participates in all SCRUM ceremonies, QA activities as required. Requirements
- A graduate / post-graduate in computer science / engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Between 2-4 years’ experience in .NET application development.
- Acceptable proficiency in .Net programming languages, including C# and VB.
- Acceptable proficiency in T-SQL and Stored Procedure for MS SQL and Reporting Service.
• Acceptable proficiency in .Net framework,
ASP.Net MVC and
ASP.Net • Proficiency in ERP (Syteline 8.0 or 10) is a plus.
- Experience in PLC connectivity and data acquisition from manufacturing equipment is favourable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-driven, motivated, result oriented. Aptitude to independently learn new technologies.
- This role will work in the shift timings of 10:00 A. M. to 7:00 P.M. or 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
The employee could be requested to work in a different shift on rare occasions to support the business during a critical issue or for any releases/migrations that maybe scheduled.
