In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.Summary: We are seeking a results-oriented Sourcing Specialist with 7-8 years of experience in IT procurement to join our team in Mumbai. This role will be a strategic partner in driving cost management, process improvement, and procurement transformation within our organization's IT spending. The successful candidate will manage the entire lifecycle of IT-related procurement, from sourcing and negotiation to contract management and vendor relationship management.Key accountabilities: * Manage the end-to-end procurement process for IT infrastructure (end user computing, routers, switches, servers), consumables, software, and professional services.* Conduct comprehensive cost analysis and price benchmarking to optimize IT spending.* Utilize e-auction tools and negotiate contracts with vendors.* Collaborate with legal and stakeholders to execute contract management processes.* Develop and deliver monthly reports and presentations on sourcing activities and cost savings to local and regional management.* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in engineering or MBA preferred.* 7-8 years of experience in IT procurement, ideally within BFSI, FMCG, or consulting.* Strong understanding of the IT market and various products/services.* Proven experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and e-auctions.* Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.Competencies: * Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.* Proficiency in using procurement applications/software.* Excellent attention to detail and a hands-on approach.* Collaborative team player with a commitment to continuous improvement.* Understanding of AI will be an added advantage.DBS India - Culture and Behaviours: * DBS is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and their opinions count.
