Job Description:

Associate Structural Engineer

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Associate Structural Engineer t o join our team! In this role you will get to p erform a variety of structural engineering duties

What You'll Be Doing:

• Performs a variety of structural engineering duties.

• Responsible for the development of structural analysis and design computations, drawings, material quantity take-offs, and estimates.

• Under close supervision in the utilization of engineering theories and practices, develops the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements.

• Performs various engineering and design assignments requiring the application of basic principles and fundamental theories studied in a four-year university engineering program, and available data in the engineering field.

• Provides support for other engineering activities as required.

• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

• Minimum 1 year experience in relevant field

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Working knowledge in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages associated with structural modelling is preferred

• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) is an advantage.

• Versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team oriented environment and who have exceptional communication, analytical and management skills.

• Experience with CSI Bridge, SAP2000, Midas Civil, and Autodesk Structural tools.

• Familiarity with structural modeling and design of bridges and tunnels.

• Presentation and technical reporting skills.
