Associate Technical Project Manager

Role Overview
As an Associate Technical Project Manager at MTP, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of technical projects from initiation through delivery. You will work closely with senior project managers, engineering teams, and clients to make sure projects run smoothly, meet requirements, and deliver meaningful value. This role is built for someone who thrives in collaboration and wants to level up their leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria with input from stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, task breakdowns, and resource tracking sheets.
• Coordinate project kickoffs, set expectations, and make sure all contributors understand roles and timelines.
• Identify risks and dependencies early, escalate effectively, and support mitigation planning.
• Track project progress, highlight blockers, and support on time and on budget delivery.
• Facilitate communication between engineering, design, QA, and clients to keep everyone aligned.
• Maintain accurate documentation including project charters, status reports, meeting notes, and change logs.
• Support senior project managers with regular status meetings and transparent progress updates.
• Assist with project closure including acceptance signoffs, documentation, and lessons learned reviews.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Certifications are an advantage but not required.
• Three to four years of hands on experience managing or coordinating software or technology projects.
• Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting basics, and cross functional coordination.
• Clear communication and relationship building skills, especially when collaborating with engineering teams and clients.
• Solid problem solving instincts and the ability to analyse issues and propose practical solutions.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, Monday dot com, or Microsoft Project.
• Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project methodologies.
• Experience in technology or digital product development is preferred.
• PMP, CSM, or similar certifications are helpful but not mandatory.

Pay: From Rs150,000.00 per month
