Overview:

Associate Vice President – Treasury Product Controller
, reporting directly to the
Executive Vice President & Head of Finance
. This role is responsible for managing the financial control and reporting of treasury products, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strategic insight to support treasury operations and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and report on treasury products, focusing on interest rate, liquidity, and market risks.

Ensure compliance with accounting policies, IFRS standards, Investment Committee mandates, and the ERM framework.

Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting for treasury transactions, including P&L and balance sheet reconciliations.

Oversee valuation and price verification of treasury instruments and derivatives in line with regulatory guidelines.

Conduct impairment analysis of treasury investments.

Analyze product performance and provide insights on profitability, risk, and opportunities to senior management.

Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including setting financial targets and tracking performance.

Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control.

Stay updated on financial regulations and ensure compliance across treasury operations.

Facilitate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic recommendations on treasury products.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.

Professional certification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) preferred.

5–10 years of experience in treasury operations, financial control, or product control within banking.

Strong understanding of treasury products, financial markets, and risk management.

Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and financial software tools.

Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
