Moroglu Arseven wishes to hire associates with 2-4 years of experience in dispute resolution. The ideal candidate will work in the dispute resolution practice group which is active in a variety of industries. The ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic team player and should be familiar with a fast-paced environment, consistently displaying a high level of flexibility.

Role description and responsibilities

·      Providing comprehensive legal advice and preparing detailed legal memoranda in both English and Turkish for the firm’s domestic and international clients regarding complex disputes, based on thorough legal research and analysis conducted both independently and under supervision.

·      Drafting and compiling petitions in different stages of a dispute both English and Turkish.

·      Representing clients and attending hearings at various stages of dispute proceedings before mediators, courts, and arbitral tribunals.

·      Actively participating in project teams to support the development and provision of appropriate legal solutions to clients.

·      Assisting senior lawyers and partners in negotiating, preparing, and drafting agreements, settlements, and other legal documents as required.

Required Qualifications

·    2-4 years of professional experience as a Turkish-qualified lawyer with a leading domestic or international law firm, specializing in commercial dispute resolution practice.

·      Expertise and experience in enforcement and procedural law.

·   Strong commercial acumen and practical problem-solving approach. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex legal, commercial, and business issues while maintaining awareness of broader strategic objectives.

·      Law degree from a reputable law school with excellent academic performance. Completion of an LL.M. program from a recognized law school in Turkey or internationally is preferred.

·    Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory. TOEFL and IELTS certifications are advantageous, as are additional foreign language skills. We typically require a minimum TOEFL score of 105 or an IELTS (Academic) score of 7.0.

·     Male candidates must have completed mandatory military service or obtained a deferment for a minimum period of two years.
