Associate/Lead Preschool Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Associate or Lead Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for young learners, fostering their curiosity and growth. Duties

  • Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and overall childhood development.
  • Plan engaging lessons that incorporate Montessori methods, standard teaching practices, and tailored strategies for children with special needs or requiring early intervention.
  • Manage classroom environments effectively through positive behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies to foster a respectful and productive learning atmosphere.
  • Support toddlers’ care routines by providing attentive childcare that emphasizes safety, hygiene, and emotional support.
  • Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress, behavioral observations, and developmental milestones through regular updates and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Incorporate assessments such as standardized testing and formative evaluations to monitor individual student progress and inform instructional adjustments.
  • Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student activities, behavioral notes, and developmental assessments in compliance with licensing standards and best practices.

Experience

  • Prior experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; at least one year of classroom experience is preferred for associate roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and childhood development.
  • Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques to support diverse learners.
  • Experience implementing Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Knowledge of classroom management tools and techniques to create a positive learning environment that promotes safety and engagement.
  • Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development in childcare best practices is encouraged.
