Associate/Senior Associate (Corporate - 3-6 PQE)

A Tier 1 international law firm is seeking an Associate/ Senior Associate to join its market-leading Corporate practice in Abu Dhabi.

The Role

This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad mix of high-profile transactions, primarily focusing on private and public M&A and joint ventures. As part of the largest practice in the region, the successful candidate will work on some of the most prestigious and complex international deals for sovereign wealth funds, government entities, and leading global corporates.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage full-scale worldwide acquisitions of existing businesses and new ventures.
• Act as a key contributor on the highest profile transactions in the market, both regionally and globally.
• Provide legal expertise across diverse sectors including energy, financial institutions, healthcare, and telecommunications.
• Mentor junior colleagues and demonstrate leadership on complex corporate transactions.
• Initiate specific business development activities and contribute to deepening relationships with key regional clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues across a global network, managing transactions throughout the MENA region and beyond.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified lawyer with 3–6 years PQE in England & Wales (or equivalent).
• Strong academic record and technical background from a top-tier corporate private practice.
• Proven experience in cross-border M&A, joint ventures, and general corporate advisory work.
• Highly effective communicator with the ability to manage a high degree of responsibility and work demands.
• Willing to travel across the MENA region.
