Job Overview
An Association Management company that has been in business for 40 years is looking for an Association Administrator with basic bookkeeping knowledge. The office is open Monday – Thursday but some Fridays are required.
Position Summary: The candidate must have the ability to multitask, have excellent organizational skills, display a professional attitude and have a friendly and upbeat personality. Strong written and verbal skills are also required. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified and challenging workload. Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) applications and have some familiarity with QuickBooks desktop and Canva. Pay commensurate with experience.
Key Association Responsibilities:
· Interacting with clients, members and boards of directors
· Coordinating designated meetings/events and projects
· Strong writing skills to assist with weekly newsletters
· Maintain membership rosters and attendance reports
· Answer phones as needed
· Comfortable learning new software applications
Key Student Tuition Organization Responsibilities:
· Liaison to the Board
· Coordination of donations and processing same
· Coordination of scholarship awards
· Processing accounts payables
· Reconciling bank accounts and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
· Prepare and file annual report
· Key detailed records for annual audit
