Responsibilities

Assemble parts and components according to technical instructions.

Use basic hand tools and assembly equipment.

Conduct inspections on finished products for defects or quality issues.

Package and label products as per standing instructions.

Adhere to safety procedures/protocols and regulations related to the handling and assembly of explosive materials.

Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, inspections, and test results.
-
Report any issues or deviations from standard procedures to the supervisor.
-
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of assembly tools and equipment.
Ensure all assembly equipment and tools are in good working condition.
Qualifications
-
BE/B.Tech/Diploma or equivalent qualification mechanical or related discipline.

5+ year experience in the assembly of mechanical components in a light engineering manufacturing company.

Experience in assembly of grenades, medium calibre ammunition, fuze components, including primers and detonators is highly desirable.

Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Strong attention to detail, precision in assembly work and commitment to quality.

Team player with good communication skills.

Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols related to explosive materials.
-
Ability to read, interpret and follow technical drawings, specifications and technical instructions.
Willingness to work in shifts
