Core Responsibilities
- Category Strategy: Help develop and execute strategies for specific product categories.
- Sourcing & Buying: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, negotiate prices, and manage product specifications
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer behavior to find growth opportunities and optimize product offerings.
- Merchandising: Assist with assortment planning and display strategies.
- Supplier Management: Oversee supplier relationships, including cost reviews and contract negotiations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, sales, and operations teams.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Prior roles in buying, merchandising, procurement, or sales.
- Analytical Skills: Data analysis, cost management, financial acumen.
- Negotiation: Strong ability to negotiate with vendors and manage contracts.
