Asst. District Attorney

The Monroe County District Attorney's Office is actively seeking resilient & analytical prosecutors with a passion for serving the community through the pursuit of justice. Joining our team as an Assistant District Attorney, you will report to the District Attorney and will be responsible for prosecuting criminal cases through legal proceedings including preliminary hearings, pre-trial motions, trials, and appeals within the State of Pennsylvania.

Minimum qualifications for the position are as follows:

• Must possess a Juris Doctorate degree
• Must be a member in good standing of the Pennsylvania Bar
• Must possess six (6) months previous experience or training; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position
• Must possess a valid PA driver’s license
