Job Title: Asst. General Manager - Quantity Surveyor
Experience Required: 18 - 25 years in infrastructure projects, specifically Hydro/PSP/Dam.

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Asst. General Manager - Quantity Surveyor to lead our Quantity Surveying department at H.O. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in infrastructure projects, particularly in Hydro/PSP/Dam project construction. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can manage complex projects, drive cost-efficiency, and ensure high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the quantity surveying team at H.O.
· Coordinate with QS teams deployed at various projects site locations.
· Oversee the preparation of budgets, cost plans, and estimates for all projects.
· Ensure accurate measurement and valuation of work completed, managing all financial aspects.
· Collaborate with our QS teams and project managers and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
· Negotiate contracts and agreements with contractors and suppliers.
· Review and approve final accounts and contract closures.
· Monitor project progress and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
· Develop and implement cost control strategies to maximize efficiency.
· Mentor and develop junior quantity surveyors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
· A master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., RICS) would be advantageous.
· 18+ years of experience in quantity surveying, with significant experience in Infra projects.
· Proven leadership skills with experience managing large teams.
· Excellent knowledge of cost management, contract administration, and procurement processes.
· Strong negotiation and communication skills.
· Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools.
· Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
