We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant HR Manager to support HR operations, payroll, compliance, performance management, and employee administration.

Job Summary:

The Assistant HR Manager will manage day-to-day HR operations, employee records, attendance, payroll, performance management, and compliance. The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel expertise, and the ability to handle HR operations independently while supporting leadership with data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Operations & Administration

  • Maintain and manage employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding documentation and exit formalities.
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of HR data and records.

Attendance, Payroll & Reporting

  • Maintain attendance, leave, and timesheet records.
  • Coordinate and process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Prepare HR reports, MIS, dashboards, and analytics using Microsoft Excel.

Policies, SOPs & Compliance

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and updating HR policies and SOPs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
  • Support internal and external audits related to HR.

Performance Management & Employee Relations

  • Support performance appraisal cycles and documentation.
  • Address employee concerns, disciplinary issues, and administrative matters.
  • Assist managers with performance improvement plans (PIPs) and HR guidance.

Training & Organizational Support

  • Coordinate training programs and maintain training records.
  • Support leadership with workforce data, HR metrics, and organizational planning.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of HR experience, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with recruitment and payroll handling, and Ms. Excel.
  • Excellent understanding of HR operations, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently and effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Sound knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong English communication (Written and Speaking Skills) are mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
