Education: Any Graduate or Postgraduate
Experience: 4+ years of experience in payroll processing
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide strategic consulting to managers and employees regarding payroll processes, policy, and compliance.
Sets up periodic self-audit processes in place to improve the overall payroll processes Requisites.
Oversee the communication, implementation, and administration of payroll processing.
Manage Payroll activities and/or program components for the purpose of ensuring effective department functioning, coordinating activities, and ensuring compliance with established financial, legal and/or administrative requirements.
Maintain a wide variety of payroll information, files, and records in written and electronic formats for the purpose of providing an up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance.
Manage the entry and execution of and maintain compliance with all wage garnishments orders.
Work with Labor Relations to ensure payroll is paying employees correctly based on collective bargaining agreements.
Perform usual responsibilities of a manager, but with greater emphasis on independent decision-making.
Participate in additional projects as required and/or assigned.
Skills:
Designated Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is preferred, Knowledge of applicable payroll regulations, policies, and practices
