Job Description:

Education: Any Graduate or Postgraduate

Experience: 4+ years of experience in payroll processing

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic consulting to managers and employees regarding payroll processes, policy, and compliance.

  • Sets up periodic self-audit processes in place to improve the overall payroll processes Requisites.

  • Oversee the communication, implementation, and administration of payroll processing.

  • Manage Payroll activities and/or program components for the purpose of ensuring effective department functioning, coordinating activities, and ensuring compliance with established financial, legal and/or administrative requirements.

  • Maintain a wide variety of payroll information, files, and records in written and electronic formats for the purpose of providing an up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance.

  • Manage the entry and execution of and maintain compliance with all wage garnishments orders.

  • Work with Labor Relations to ensure payroll is paying employees correctly based on collective bargaining agreements.

  • Perform usual responsibilities of a manager, but with greater emphasis on independent decision-making.

  • Participate in additional projects as required and/or assigned.

Skills:

  • Designated Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is preferred, Knowledge of applicable payroll regulations, policies, and practices
