Key responsibilities
- Sales and promotion: Promote and sell travel packages, flights, hotels, and tours to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Client consultation: Understand client travel preferences and needs through consultation to create personalized and customized itineraries.
- Booking and coordination: Handle all booking procedures for flights, accommodations, and other travel services, and coordinate with suppliers and vendors.
- Customer service: Provide exceptional customer support before, during, and after the trip, including handling inquiries, issues, and complaints.
- Product and market knowledge: Stay current on travel trends, destinations, promotions, and industry regulations to provide informed recommendations.
- Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and travel partners.
- Administrative tasks: Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and transactions.
Required skills and qualifications
- Proven 2+sales experience, ideally in the travel or tourism industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of travel products, services, and booking systems.
- Familiarity with CRM software is often a plus.
- A results-driven and customer-focused attitude
