Asst. Manager SBP Correspondence

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


Assist Unit Head in Reading & dissemination of instructions of individual action items in excel format and tagging relevant stakeholder for necessary action & compliance.


  • Assist Unit Head in Reading & dissemination of instructions other than circulars/circular letters to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist Unit Head in following up, escalation and updation of tracker to ensure compliance of regulations received through circular and circular letter within stipulate timelines along with review of related compliance evidences.
  • To ensure submission of requirement received ad-hoc basis through email within stipulate timelines
  • To ensure submission of requirement received through various state departments & entities including courts, SECP, GOP, etc within stipulate timelines
  • Assist Unit Head in preparation of Monthly Activity Report for management review. (MAR & CCM)
  • To ensure submission of requirement received through court letter within stipulate timelines. This includes reporting accounts identified, blocking & un-blocking of accounts and pay order issuance.
  • Assist Unit Head in submission of Treasury Code of Conduct of new joiners to SBP on required basis on their joining & for overall treasury staff on bi-annual basis.
  • To ensure submission of Daily, Weekly, Fortnightly, Monthly, Quarterly, Bi Annually & Annual reporting to the regulator within stipulate timelines tagged by unit head.
  • Ensure correspondence with the State Bank of Pakistan “SBP” team and assist concerned departments in discussions with the regulators and Relationship Management with SBP, which includes Calls from SBP, SBP visits, relationship management, query handling, facilitation & interaction with SBP. (At least 2 calls/messages to each person in contact with SBP)

Internal:

  • Across different business functions, the MLRO, Group Executive – Compliance and other concerned departments. Compliance, IT, Business and Operations.

External:

  • Regulators


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:


Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute / university
  • Master’s degree or professional qualification shall be given preference.


Minimum Experience:

  • 03-05 years of professional experience.
