Job Summary:
The Assistant Sales Manager supports the Sales Manager in driving sales of diesel generator sets (gensets), AMC contracts, spare parts, and power solutions. The role involves managing client relationships, achieving sales targets, preparing proposals, and coordinating with technical and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities (industrial, commercial, residential projects).
- Prepare quotations, tenders, and technical proposals for gensets and related services.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide product recommendations.
- Coordinate with technical and service teams for site surveys and installations.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key accounts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Support payment collection and ensure timely order processing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering.
- 2–5 years of sales experience (preferably in gensets, electrical equipment, or industrial products).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of diesel generator systems and power backup solutions preferred.
- Ability to work under targets and travel as required.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
