Job Summary
The Athletic Administrative Assistant supports the mission and operations of the
athletic department by providing administrative, organizational, and
communication support to the Athletic Director, coaches, student-athletes, and
families. This position helps ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of athletic
programs while promoting excellence, professionalism, and a Christ-centered
approach to athletics.
The Athletic Administrative Assistant serves an important role in supporting a
program that develops student-athletes in skill, character, discipline, and faith.
Requirements
● Must be a Christian and actively attend a local church.
● High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
● Administrative or office support experience preferred
● Experience in athletics, school operations, or event coordination preferred
● Strong organizational and multitasking skills
● Proficiency in office software, data entry, and communication platforms
● Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
● Frequent walking, standing, stooping, and lifting of up to approximately 30
pounds may be required.
● Full-time position Monday through Friday, occasional weekend
tournament coverage.
● Work day from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m and game schedule rotation.
● Desire to continue career improvement and travel if necessary.
Essential Responsibilities
1. Ability to communicate comfortably (written and orally) with students,
parents/guardians, administrators, and others.
2. Ability to follow and enforce rules, policies, and procedures.
3. Support the philosophy and mission of Trinity Christian Academy.
4. React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities
Administrative Support
● Provide direct administrative support to the Athletic Director and athletic
department
● Manage calendars, schedules, meetings, and departmental
correspondence
● Assist with preparation and organization of athletic documents, forms, and
records
● Maintain accurate files for athletes, coaches, eligibility, and program
compliance
● Support budget tracking, purchase requests, invoices, and athletic
department paperwork
Athletic Operations Support
● Assist with scheduling games, transportation, officials, and facility use
● Coordinate logistics for practices, competitions, tournaments, and special
athletic events
● Help oversee athletic registrations, physicals, eligibility documentation,
and required forms
● Support uniform, equipment, and inventory tracking
● Assist with senior night, banquets, awards programs, and athletic
recognition events
Communication & Family Support
● Serve as a point of contact for parents, coaches, and visiting schools
● Assist in communicating schedules, updates, changes, and athletic
announcements
● Support communication through school platforms, social media, and
athletic promotions as assigned
● Help maintain athletic calendars, website updates, and event information
Game Day & Event Support
● Assist with home game operations and event logistics
● Support ticketing, gate coordination, event setup, hospitality, and
supervision needs as assigned
● Help coordinate volunteers and support personnel for athletic events
● Support tournament and postseason event preparation
Student-Athlete Support & Accountability
● Assist with monitoring eligibility requirements and academic
documentation
● Support the athletic department in promoting standards of conduct and
accountability
● Encourage a positive, Christ-centered culture within athletics
● Build positive relationships with student-athletes and families
Spiritual Requirements

Responsibilities
1. Attend training sessions, conferences and seminars to further your own
education regarding technological and procedural changes in your field
so that you can provide the information to your students.
2. Attend and engage in regularly scheduled staff meetings and
occasionally engage in parent participation events and other events that
may be on nights and/or weekends. Attendance at Orientation and
Open House preparations and event dates are mandatory.
3. Report directly to the Athletic Directors and Head of School.
4. Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Directors and Head of
School.
Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
