Attorney

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail oriented and experienced attorney to join our team on a part-time basis. This role focuses on reviewing and signing legal documents, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and client-specific regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and sign various legal documents including pleadings, Notices of Hearing, Complaints and other miscellaneous legal documents
• Conduct compliance reviews to ensure adherence to federal, state and local laws
• Verify compliance with client-specific regulations and requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams to address compliance questions and concerns
• Stay current on relevant legal developments and regulatory changes

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in good standing in Illinois. Missouri is a plus
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an attorney
• Strong understanding of business law and regulatory compliance
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with document management systems is preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week

Work Location: Remote
