Attorney

A firm in the Twin Cities is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Attorney to join a client-focused legal team. As an Attorney, you will work closely with clients under the guidance of more senior attorneys.

Your responsibilities will include will providing legal counsel and representation in two related but distinct practice areas:

(1) advising on eligibility, compliance and planning around medical assistance programs (e.g., Medicaid / state medical assistance) and

(2) designing and implementing asset protection/estate-planning strategies (such as trusts, transfers, long-term care planning) that align with medical assistance eligibility and protect assets from undue risk. The attorney will work with clients (individuals, families, or organizations) to ensure they meet medical assistance requirements while preserving assets legally and ethically.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Minnesota estate and tax law, excellent communication skills, and a client-first mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
