Our team is looking for a motivated Junior Attorney to assist with case preparation, legal research, and courtroom advocacy.

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Attorney to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent research and writing skills, and a desire to develop litigation experience under the guidance of seasoned attorneys. This role offers hands-on courtroom opportunities, client interaction, and professional growth in a small-firm setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs.
• Assist with case strategy, deposition preparation, and trial support.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and client meetings.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage case files, deadlines, and document organization.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case development and litigation tactics.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Texas Bar
• 0-3 years of experience (clerkships, internships, or law school clinics count!)
• Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and excellent time management
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Spanish speaking required.
