Commercial Litigation Attorney (Contract) — Heathcare Industry Experience Required


Remote or Hybrid - 4-Month Assignment | January–April 2026 | 30–40 Hours/Week


A national healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its in-house legal team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong commercial litigation experience who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is comfortable supporting cross-functional business teams.


This position may be performed fully remote ; however, the ability to be on-site in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania one day per week is a strong plus .


The client is moving quickly and intends to interview soon. Interested candidates are encouraged to respond promptly.


Position Responsibilities

The attorney will manage a diverse portfolio of litigation and regulatory matters, including:

  • Overseeing healthcare-related commercial litigation, including vendor and contract disputes, payor/provider issues, employment-related claims, regulatory challenges, and patient-related matters.
  • Responding to government investigations, subpoenas, and inquiries from agencies such as CMS, OIG, OCR, DOJ, and state health departments.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather facts, assess risk, and support consistent, accurate responses.
  • Coordinating with outside counsel and assisting with litigation strategy and case management.


Required Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of in-house commercial litigation experience within the healthcare industry (required).
  • Demonstrated experience responding to government investigations or regulatory inquiries (required).
  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (required).
  • Prior experience supporting a Delaware-incorporated corporation is helpful but not required.
  • Healthcare experience is mandatory.


Assignment Details

  • Start Date: January 2026
  • Duration: January–April 2026 (4 months)
  • Hours: 30–40 per week
  • Work Arrangement: Remote or hybrid (one on-site day per week in King of Prussia, PA strongly preferred)
  • Position Type: Contract
  • Compensation: 75-85/hour (DOE)
