Attorney, EEO Investigator

For the past 30 years, Bashen Corporation has conducted workplace discrimination, harassment, and retaliation investigations on behalf of our federal and private sector clients. Our services include investigating formal complaints of discrimination and internal harassment concerns filed against federal agencies and some private corporations. These investigations entail obtaining and analyzing relevant documents, interviewing individuals, drafting affidavits and fact-finding reports, and consulting the clients. Our services also include EEO Counseling, Final Agency Decisions, and developingEEO Compliance Initiatives and Strategies. The attorney investigator must be a self-disciplined and organized professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications / Vetting Requirements

· Two-years of claims experience, which may include:

o Litigation of any type of cases; and/or

o Investigating EEO claims in the private sector or federal sector.

· Educational Qualifications:

o Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school; or

o Bachelor’s degree and master’s degree (e.g., Masters of Law, Master of Studies in Law [MSL], Human Resources), provided the candidate has at least two years of experience investigating claims/complaints.

· The Department of Homeland Security must successfully vet all attorney investigators. Vetting begins after Bashen hires the attorney investigator.
