An established law firm in Asheville, NC is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to focus on estate planning, estate administration, and related practice areas. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who want to grow their careers in a supportive and client-focused environment. Candidates with direct experience in estate planning will be given priority, however the firm is willing to train as well!

Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on estate planning and administration matters, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and reliable legal guidance.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to provide efficient, high-quality legal services.
  • Participate in business development and networking to further establish the firm’s presence in the community.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active license (or eligibility) to practice in North Carolina.
  • Prior experience as a practicing attorney is required.
  • Direct experience in estate planning or estate administration is strongly preferred, but the firm is open to training
  • Strong legal research, drafting, and client communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters with attention to detail and professionalism.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary typically ranges from $100,000 – $130,000+, depending on experience.
