An established law firm in Asheville, NC is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to focus on estate planning, estate administration, and related practice areas. Candidates with direct experience in estate planning will be given priority, however the firm is willing to train as well!
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on estate planning and administration matters, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and reliable legal guidance.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to provide efficient, high-quality legal services.
- Participate in business development and networking to further establish the firm’s presence in the community.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active license (or eligibility) to practice in North Carolina.
- Prior experience as a practicing attorney is required.
- Direct experience in estate planning or estate administration is strongly preferred, but the firm is open to training
- Strong legal research, drafting, and client communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters with attention to detail and professionalism.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary typically ranges from $100,000 – $130,000+, depending on experience.
