Attorney - Family Law

A well-established law firm with multiple locations around California is looking to add an experienced family law attorney based out of their San Diego office. The firm is dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality legal representation in family law matters. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in family law or civil litigation and a strong desire to grow within a supportive and collaborative legal team. You’ll work alongside experienced attorneys and professional staff to handle a wide range of family law matters from intake through resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in all phases of family law matters, including divorce, custody disputes, support, and domestic violence cases
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Appear in court for hearings, settlement conferences, and trials
• Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively on behalf of clients
• Maintain detailed and organized case files and client communications
• Collaborate with legal support staff and other attorneys within the firm
• Manage a reasonable caseload with an emphasis on quality over quantity

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active California Bar license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in family law or civil litigation
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Client-focused mindset with a commitment to excellence
