Attorney - Family Law

A respected law firm with multiple locations around California is expanding its Family Law department in San Jose and is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and the drive to build a long-term career with the firm. The candidate will handle a variety of family law matters from start to finish, working alongside seasoned attorneys and professional staff who are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality representation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in divorce, custody, support, and domestic violence matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and provide sound legal advice to clients
• Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials
• Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively on behalf of clients
• Maintain well-organized case files and clear client communication
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional results

Qualifications:

• J.D. and active membership with the California Bar
• At least 2 years of family law experience
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and client advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced practice
• Commitment to client service and professional growth
