Attorney - General Practice

We are seeking a highly motivated Attorney with 7+ years’ experience to join our consumer oriented, general practice law firm. The ideal candidate will provide legal counsel to clients on a range of matters, including but not limited to demand letters, wills and trusts, personal injury, civil litigation, probate, real estate and dispute resolution. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Consultation and Case Evaluation: Assessing client objectives, applicable law, and potential outcomes
• Negotiation and Mediation: Pursuing settlement through informal resolution and structured mediation when appropriate.
• Litigation: Drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, appearing at hearings, and representing clients in trial and appellate proceedings.
• Document Preparation: Drafting and reviewing legal instruments such as contracts, deeds, wills, leases, and settlement agreements.
• Ongoing Legal Counsel: Providing advice and continuing support to clients as their legal needs evolve.
• Research & Analysis: Conduct legal research on emerging business law issues.
• Client Development: Maintain and grow client relationships through exceptional service and networking.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar (in good standing).
• 7+ years of experience in business, corporate, or commercial law (transactional and/or litigation).
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Leadership skills

Preferred Skills

• Comfort with cloud-based legal research and document management tools.

Demonstrated business acumen and client-focused mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
