Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in various areas of law, including but not limited to estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, and family law. This role requires strong negotiation skills, legal research capabilities, and the ability to draft legal documents effectively. The Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in legal proceedings, providing sound legal advice, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies in various legal matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Draft and review legal documents including contracts, wills, and pleadings.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in disputes related to landlord-tenant issues, personal injury claims, workers' compensation cases, and more.
• Provide guidance on compliance with tribal laws and regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in legislation affecting practice areas such as securities law and patent law.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
• Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and case developments.

Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar association is required.
• Proven experience in one or more areas of law including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, litigation, or tribal law & regulations.
• Strong writing skills with experience in legal drafting and documentation.
• Legal administrative experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
